Premium Members Matthias Biber Posted September 23, 2016 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 23, 2016 I´m happy to announce my new mounting plate for the Arri Amira. Arri has the great UAP-2 cheese plate to mount our steadicam dovetailpate. Many ACs like the UAP-2 very much, too. But on top of the camera to mount mdr, transmitter, Cinetape, etc. From the rental house usually comes only one plate. So I find it very useful to have my own bottom plate and let the AC keep his one on top of the camera. Especially when dayplaying. available on http://cam-jam.de/index.html more pictuers and a video: http://cam-jam.de/amirabracket.html

Premium Members Siim Kaarel Saluri Posted April 18, 2017 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 18, 2017 Hi Mattias Is the bracket even with the camera base ? If i would mount the steadicam dovetail under it would the edges of the camer sit on the steadicam dovetail or not ? I bought your alexa plate and for me it had a small issue that it locked the camera nicely from front to back, but since the bracket was quite narrow and the camera base did not reach to the steadicam dovetail then soon it started to have small vibrations from side to side. Love the idea to have a proper and rock solid plate to amira as well. Siim
Premium Members Matthias Biber Posted April 18, 2017 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted April 18, 2017 The plate adds around 5mm of height to the bottom of the camera. This is necessary to access the clamp mechanism.
