DJI Follow Focus

I've used a cinegears, and that sometimes had issues connecting/syncing with the motor, and the mounting hardware can be a bit annoying (ie. tightening the thumbscrews so ridiculously tight to keep the motor from slipping.)

but it's in that price range. It's lighter than others because the motors receiver is built-into the motor. I just picked up a Bartech, used, for your budget, in a fantastic working condition.

Hey everybody! I have recently had to conduct a research on follow focus systems, their specifications and so on. I think many people, at least who is looking for a FF, will be interested. I’ve checked the most popular models, both wireless and wired, mechanical and electronic. I’ve done it myself so If you have any questions I will be ready to answer.

Bought mine last month to use on a feature. Motor died after 3 days so I sent it back to DJI for refund. They declined my refund because the hand unit had a scratch on the back of it. I disputed with customer service and they said they would re-evaluate and get back to me. Instead of getting back to me they decided to just send me the broken unit back.

Infuriating customer service.

STAY AWAY!!!

DJI is now 1299$ on b&h, you may get deal on ebay around $1000 to get a brand new one.

I have used DJI for several sets. It works well to me. One of friend told me he has seen a DJI motor fried on set as well.
