I bought this Zephyr from another steadicam forum member. It has worked out great. A custom monitor yoke and the grip were added. Both are removable. The OE tiffen monitor mount hardware is included. I never had any issues with the arm, sled, or vest while operating. All components in the kit are in great working condition. No missing parts. Items have typical signs of use. Mainly seen on the vest and a few nicks on the outside of the arm. It has been carefully looked after by myself as it was by the original owner. It is time to make some space and find this system a new home.

I received some questions about the condition of different components. I'm reposting here in more detail:

 

The stage works as good as it ever has. No extra play, unintended sliding or vibrations. Stage trims precise no extra play, movement or vibrations. Dovetails have almost no wear on the original matte finish. No fitment issues due to dovetail wear. No issues securing dovetails to stage. Camera payload is secure at any angle (tilted up in standby or tilted down at ground).

 

The arm works as good as it ever has. It is smooth through the entire boom range. No extra movement, no strange noises, no loose hardware on the linkages in the arm. Lift knobs are smooth, threads are solid and adjustment is precise.

 

The sled works as good as it ever has. No issues on the sled. No abuse or stress on the carbon post under the stage from docking. All the Tools-free adjustments secure tightly and work as intended. All the power connections on stage and base, the HD-sdi line, and monitor input/outputs work as intended. No issues throughout any of these connections.

 

Zephyr sleds had some different options. SD and HD wiring option. This is wired for HD. 3 choices for monitors from tiffen: SD, HD, and HD high-bright. This zephyr is HD high-bright. This system is v-mount. No issues with either battery hanger mounting batteries. No issues securing either battery hanger to the base. All v-mount batteries are original purchased with zephyr. They all charge fully. I've never had issues with them. Dual charger packs inside zephyr case.
