Wonder whether Jim or anybody can help me.

We have an analog BFD with the M-One motor my question is is there a mod to convert the handset to use digital motors? Is it just a case of the PLC receiver?

I have a CMotion CForce motor & would like to use this with the Bartech.

Thanks in advance.

I did not know this! So, technically, I can use an old Analog Bartech handset, to talk to a Digital Bartech Receiver with a digital motor like a Preston Motor?

You will need a digital PLC receiver to do that. The handset will work with either a digital or analog receiver.

Yes, like Lawrence said, you have to have a digital receiver. But the Handset (transmitter) will work with both, analog and digital receiver. So you can have for example an analog receiver for channel 1 and parallel a digital receiver for channel 2.

I don't know how I missed this when it was posted. All BFD handsets will work with either analog or digital receivers. However, a very small minority (<5%) of older units that are still running obsolete software may need an update. The upgrade is $45 for the new CPU chip.
