Sandro Galv
I need your help! I am using the alien revolution (Omega) on my PRO sled! And I am feeling vibrations! Is it normal?
Premium Members Benjamin Treplin Posted June 11, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 11, 2018 it depends... Are you seeing vibrations in your footage as well? A bit more information on your setup would help...

Premium Members Ramon Engle Posted June 30, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 30, 2018 Hi Sandro. Make sure your side-to-side camera plate is secure and the locking screws are tight. The other issue may be the belt drive gears and tight on their drive shafts as well. Ramon
Premium Members Jens Piotrowski SOC Posted June 30, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 30, 2018 While your post is horizontal, it is the least stable, given that this is a 1.5" post, I am not surprised. The AR was designed for the MK-V 2" post sled. You could go 2" by buying a XCS post (with pro connector) and Gimbal?

Premium Members Andre Trudel Posted July 18, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 18, 2018 There's also that "clunk" that happens with the Pro gimbal when you transition from high to low mode and visa versa. It could be enough to cause vibration and would make sense that it happens when you're horizontal with the rig because that would be the transition point. The Pro gimbal was not designed to be used with the AR although it has been done.
