16x9 lcd with tuner

Hi all. I'm in the market for a 16x9 lcd hand held monitor with a tuner. I love my Casio but it's 4x3. I the other option is an image converter velcro'd to the sled. Don't really want to do that.

Anybody know of a decent unit that runs on standard AA's?

I have a 7" which I bought a while ago that handles both NTSC & PAL. I think I paid $300, but the prices seem to have fallen a lot (& there are bigger sizes now).

I see here at this moment in Bangkok a lot of 7" screen with very decent picture AND with a Tuner, AND with a DVD player AND with a video-input......, all for the in-car multimedia market. But they are small and portable and getting better every month.

for around 400 Euro (20.000 Bht) . Not sure about the powersupply, but I think there are some with Li-Ion batteries as well.

 

Besides that, a lot of plain screens from all kind of brands, between 100 and 200 Euro, but with tuner and video in. Normally no battery attached.

I Realize I may be asking for too much but I'd love a monitor that: Runs on AA's internally, not some battery pack that velcros' on: 16x9 : Tuner and PAL/NTSC compatible. Alec's suggestions from B&H are great but the better versions all have external battery packs. I know it's a small price to pay when all the other features are there.

Also I purchased one of the TV One products from B&H last year and the picture quality via the tuner was pure crap! I returned it. Tuners.......quality tuners, are difficult to find in hand helds. Even the Sony watchmen version don't compare to the quality product that Casio produces. Has anyone seen a Casio 16x9 monitor?

I know I'm being very particular here but what the hell, technology has produced all these new goodies in recent years so why can't I have my monitor and eat it too? or Something like that/

It's not fantastic, but does as you'd need it to - I have a smiliar one for my Steadicam set up, and works well, uses batteries and goes anywhere, plus it's AV/Tuner and PAL/NTSC are supported.

Was just on set and the sound guy had one that got fantastic signal. Don't know if they're battery powered or not, but I was impressed with the unit and I think he said he paid around $200 for a 7" at Coffey Sound:
