Sam Bennett
Hi all, I'm relatively new to the vast world of Steadicam. I see a lot of operators wearing gloves and I'm wondering if what the main advantages and reasons are?(not referring to gloves for cold weather conditions).Cheers, Sam. Premium Members Aaron King Posted October 17, 2018 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 17, 2018 I usually wear fingerless gloves because of the sweat. They help to absorb any moisture that results in a slick grip on the gimbal handle, or even on the gimbal itself. It's a personal preference, much like wearing a sweat band during the extreme summer seasons.

Kevin Kisling
I wear a glove on my right hand to help with sweat, I have an Aero 30 and the handle gets slippery. I don't wear a glove on my left hand, gimbal hand. I'll probably get a fingerless glove for cold weather if needed.
