Russell Martin
Hello All, We have a bunch of Arri Amira's that we hire out. Just wondering if theres anything other than the ordinary we should include in the kit or will you guys generally turn up with all bits and bobs required for Steadi work? Cheers, Russell Edited February 10, 2019 by Russell Martin Spelling
Premium Members Andreas Pfiffner Posted February 10, 2019 Premium Members Report Share Posted February 10, 2019 Hi, I alway use ARRI UAP-2 when mounting on Steadicam. Cheers Andreas
Premium Members Matthias Biber Posted April 20, 2019 Premium Members Report Share Posted April 20, 2019 I use this plate. Saves a ton of weight AND height. Also a must have when the Amira goes to Ronin2.https://shop.cam-jam.de/product/amira-bracket/
Premium Members Hugo Longtin Posted August 23, 2019 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 23, 2019 Hi, I’m looking into the CAM-JAM plate for the Amira. looks great but I’m wondering how do you rig the rest of the camera. what is the plate you’re using on top to mount the rods for the motors. thanks
Premium Members Matthias Biber Posted August 23, 2019 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 23, 2019 on top the arri UAP-2 is very useful. On the bottom the cam-jam.de railway plate is great. 15mm rod front and back. With the Tripod adapter this plate can always stay on the camera.
