Any time man! - Haris - It turns out that the monitor SDI port is bust. I'm looking at buying a new one, I don't suppose you have any reccomendations? Premium Members Haris Pallas Posted September 29, 2019 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 29, 2019 Hi Lewis, I see, it's the second suspect! Mouser.com is a good place to find those things. You must carefully open the back cover of the monitor so the boards are visible and see the SDI part number. Then search it on Mouser website. If the SDI is soldered on the board (most probable), you must refer to an electronic guy before you order it and for soldering it back. Otherwise you must send it to CVP in London but the cost will be significantly different. - Haris -

Any time man! - Haris - So I finally fixed the issue, I can't even begin to explain how relived I am right now. It turns out I had to select 576i from the SDI output settings on my FS5, I had it at 1080p thinking that is what I needed but guess not. Hopefully if someone else has the same problem in future they'll stumble along this thread haha.
Premium Members Haris Pallas Posted September 29, 2019 Premium Members Report Share Posted September 29, 2019 Hey Lewis, I mentioned in my first reply that the Fs5 menu SDI output is very tricky! And there you go...although your monitor can and should handle 1080p. Glad you have signal after all !! - Haris -

I fear the port is bad also. I can’t find this menu, though.
Premium Members Haris Pallas Posted July 27, 2020 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 27, 2020 Hi David, I don't own a FS5 but I remember that inside the general menu, you must select the OUTPUT MONITOR menu and then the SDI/HDMI menu. Hope this helps! - Haris -
