Eliott Parish
Hi all. First post here although have been reading and enjoying the forum for years! Following a cable failure on the company's Ultra arm, and the subsequent reassembly, can anyone tell me whether the attached picture looks right? It is looking at the upper arm upper bone. Does the orientation of the cables leading to the spring look right, or should the spring end be rotated by about 30 Deg clockwise so that the cables stay parallel to the pulleys? For info, the black delrin(?) guide attached to the spring end has been loosened so may well be in the wrong orientation! For comparison, the forearm (not recently disassembled) also has a slight twist in the cables, although not as extreme as the upper arm. Nervous to give it a full test until I can be sure it's not going to cause further noisy incidents! Any opinions gratefully received! Cheers, Eliott
