360degree Roll on Steadicam (Trinity or other options?)

I'm searching for a way to be able to remotely control the roll of the camera (ideally 360 degrees or at least 180) while the steadicam operator is operating. As in, we would hire a trinity operator, and I would have a remote or set of wheels to be able to independently control the roll. Camera is Alexa Mini.

I have found the K2.0010337 remote (https://www.arri.com/en/camera-systems/camera-stabilizer-systems/brackets-accessories-protection/maxima-accessories/K2.0010337) but I heard it may not be able to do a full 360 degrees rotation.

I also have been reading about the Omega or AR system, but am unsure about whether this system can be controlled remotely or if it's only for pre-programmed movements.

If ever, this job is in Las Vegas on Dec 10-12, in case any LA operators are interested or have the appropriate gear!

Thank you all!
Derek (DOP and Steadicam Operator)

Derek,

Headed off to work, but quickly.... I used the Omega AR a few years ago for an Ok Go Video. Read about it here:

https://www.alecjarnagin.com/ok-go/

SINCE we did this, Ruben Sluijter developed an App that controls the rotation of the AR Omega in all sorts of fabulous ways while keeping the stabilization working. I used it with great success (on a dolly) on the Netflix film "See You Yesterday."

Take good care,

Incredible shot Alec!

Also love reading about it. Just the BTS of you on the crane and the hallway spinning gave me vertigo, your level of focus was amazing!

Thank you so much for the information Alec! That video is truly spectacular.

I'm wondering if you know the name of Ruben's app or if it is open to the public as I'm having trouble finding much information about it. I did see a video and it looks amazing but I'm not sure what it's called.

Thank you so much!

Ruben's app for the AR Omega is fantastic. all moneys aside, I tried the Letus Helix Pro and immediately felt it was the right tool for me. with both power and video passthrough, the camera is able to freely execute 360 rolls and just keep going. one can make use of an iOS app, a joystick (for operator) or an RC control. LEtus has different models with different weight capacities.

cheers
