Question about Arms

Hi,

Newbie here, I'm currently looking for an arm right now and I've been doing a bit of research. Does anyone have any experience with the following arms?

- FlowCine XArm

- NB Stabiliser Arm

- SmartSystem Arm X1

- AVDONIN A5 Arm

Quite frankly I'm really looking towards the traditional G70(x) arm but they're not always available in the market, like hot singles in my area..

I'm willing to give these new arms in the market a try as beginner arms and eventually have them as back up arm. They're just super far from where I live and also no demos these days (Covid). The data is only as good as it's presented on their website and I can only find really limited resources and testimonials.

Please let me know if anyone has any opinions about those arms. Thanks!

(Leaning towards SmartSystem and NB)

Im using FlowCine X Arm after using an Artemis Arm (gen 1) during more than 15 years, and Im very happy.

The FlowCine X arm Is very smooth,  lighter, and strong.

The Post sale service is fast. They always answer any questions or what you need from them.

Best to all,

  Gus

Only two in that list to choose from.

FlowCine XArm

NB Stabiliser Arm.

The other two are huge skips

I can't speak for AVDONIN arm since I'm a manufacturer (SmartSystem) and for this reason I'm extremely biased since I personally designed and patented the ArmX1 in 2010.

I don't want to publicly promote our system but can I gently ask to you which are the features that let you define it a huge skips?

Have you ever tried our ArmX1 before?

If yes, in which occasion? Trade show or via a retailer? Did you test it extensively on a film shooting?

Thank you so much.

Do they have an office state-side? They’re based in Sweden, correct? I guess my hang up would be sending things in for service if I had to send it to Sweden from the US

Hi Alex

I bought my arms in 16x9 (Los Angeles)

https://16x9inc.com

I dont know if 16x9 repairs in case of a trouble, but is VERY EASY to solve any problem. The arm is very easy to do maintenance. There is a Facebook group where you can ask if you have any doubts. The Manufacture respond inmediatly beside owners of X Arm around the world:

Best to all,

  Gus
