Premium Members mark morgan Posted May 30, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 well i have to give props to bj,i met him here in hawaii last week took him surfing in some semi well overhead surf, new swell " lots of water movin around" and to top it off he was hung over,he handled like a champ, and i think he had a big cut on his foot from the reef the day before,so i don't think the rocks are goin to phase him as much as the reef did that day,so bj just take your shoe off and hang over the meat rack at the rhino ooohhhh...steadi vomit, hot chicks, romantic sunset with all the other operators, i'm in. outside deck it is. if we are there early enough, maybe i'll give b.j. his first kiteboarding lesson. we can all sit on the deck and tip our drinks to him as he gets dragged downwind accross the rocks. hot chicks love wounds. all who say we sacrifice b.j. to neptune to attract the hot chicks, say aye. geoff
Premium Members David Allen Grove Posted May 30, 2006 Author Premium Members Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 Gladstones still sounds good to me. I wonder if we should try and get a head count? Maybe a non-scientific RSVP poll should be started just to get an idea of the number?
Premium Members BJMcDonnell SOC Posted May 30, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 Yes Brad, I do spend most of my weekends this way. I am a walking disaster. Hey Morgan, are you gonna fly over for cinegear? The surf is not as good as Hawaii but it is fun. Gladstones, wedding party chics, drunk operators, surf and rocks!!!! I am ready. BJ McDonnell P.S. Geoff, if I am kiteboarding then you are surfing!!!
Premium Members Michael Stumpf Posted May 30, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 Wow, as stated I was in Hawaii last week. Mark, if I knew you, I would of looked you up. We stayed in the Hyatt in Maui and at the Kahala off of Waikiki on Oahu. The wife tells me the PCH deck holds quite a few people and has outside (read: plastic) tables and chairs so they are easy to move around and fall on when drunk. Sadly I have a reputation to uphold at Gladstones and can't embarrass my wife and myself because many of her employees know me. But I can capture images of you all with my tiny Powershot camera (it's small so you wont' see me take the pictures... :P ) By the way, some of the servers at the restaurant are also pretty cute and some single...if anybody is interested in one of them, let me know I'll ask my wife if she's available. Sorry, I don't do man-gay hook ups, not that there's anything wrong with that, but two females and I'm all for that hook up. I'll have my wife reserve the deck for us. Premium Members JimBartell Posted June 25, 2006 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 25, 2006 Many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, Thanks to Michael and his charming wife for hosting a fantastic gathering after the show. Excellent snacks, nice waitresses and plenty of room. A good time was had by all. Now if the damn weather had just cooperated. Fortunately, copius amounts of alcohol warded off the chill quite nicely. Thanks again to the Stumpfs!!! Jim "Cold? What cold?" Bartell
