Nicholas Lymberis
Ok, I'm confused. I picked up a steadicam scout in Australia, it had the BNC connector input on the sled but a built-in RCA out on the base. The monitor has RCA/S-Video inputs and so a 3g out from my fs5ii obviously didn't work. I then picked up a steadicam scout in the UK whilst waiting for my other one to be shipped here and it has bnc input and a bnc output, pre plugged in to a 3g sdi port in an updated monitor. So the question is, can the internal cable of the one I picked up in Australia carry a 3g signal, and so if I just change the RCA output connectors I can get a 3g sdi signal through the steadicam to say an updated monitor (or perhaps put my Shogun on there)? I wasn't expecting to see a scout be able to carry a 3g sdi like the one I picked up so it's thrown me (in a good way hopefully)! Cheers, Nick
