Tom Selbeck Posted January 23, 2025 Report Posted January 23, 2025 Hi all, I just came back from a practice session, practising side to side start and stops. You know the kind: 90 degree with loads of vertical lines. When I was operating them I really noticed a difference between low mode and high mode in the 'ease' of keeping level, being, in low mode, it was actually easier! Now this got me thinking. When I low mode, I grab the post, which is actually a lot smaller than my chunky 2' inch gimbal. I operate an oldschool Bearbell 2'inch gimbal. I feel I can use a lot more pressure on the post, compared to highmode. Do other people feel similair , and how much pressure do you use with your 2' gimbals? Do more people feel like 2'inch gimbals need a ligther touch? Cheers, Tom Selbeck Quote
Tom.W.Hall Posted January 27, 2025 Report Posted January 27, 2025 Hi Tom I don't have a 2" gimbal but would you say 90 degree moves are much easier to control than facing forward/DJ? Tom Quote
