Need AB to V-lock adaptor

Hello,

I swear I've seen a adaptor to put on AB systems, which makes it possible to use V-lock based batteries. Changing from Hytron 120's to IDX Steadicam batteries in the near future.

Anyone know what this thingy is called? Checked out bhphotovideo.com but with no results. Any tips on where I can get my hands on one of those is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Guy's... be a little creative...

Took me 3 minutes on google:

(A-AB2E - 3-stud to ENDURA V-Mount Adaptor

Temporary "3-stud" mount to "V-Mount" converter plate. This plate slides onto 3-stud mounting brackets, allowing ENDURA batteries to be used. This plate temporarily eliminates Digi-View and Syncron.)

Look what I found at B&H:

In my experience, both types of mounts need some soft Velcro to be rid of vibration demons. I have one of these adapters and it is a great thing to add to the kit (I should warn that their availability is limited as they are often out of stock). My AB plates are always covered with a little soft Velcro, and now the IDX adapter boasts some as well.

If I were switching to IDX batteries for my own inventory, I'd switch the plates on my rig in order to shed the adapters but then I'd buy V-Mount to AB adapters in case I wanted to use someone else's AB batteries. I think it makes sense for your rig to don the mount for the batteries you personally own. Have adapters for other kinds.

My two cents.
