My old one broke, so I need a new one.

can anyone recommend one in the 30-$40 range?

It will be used on the rig, around the house, on the car...etc. maybe once a month or more depending on what breaks.

Anyone have a favorite to reccomend?

Thanks

Love the little radio shack one. it's around $20, and folds nicely in half.

Hi Bryan: How ironic, mine died this weekend so I bought a Pocket Pro HDM2 Digital MM from Home Depot last night for $29.95. It's about 1/4" thick maybe a tad longer than a deck of cards with a vinyl case around it. Auto ranging up to 450 volts AC or DC. Found them locked in a display in the electrical department.

While looking for the meter I ran across a cool little Weller battery powered soldering pen with 900 watts output. My old butane pen version (700w) had long since died. I figure I can always get AA batteries and can't check butane in baggage... $14.95 in the hardware department.
