I have a F-900 with the Miranda so there is no A/B plate with screw holes on the side for a receiver mount, I?ve been putting the receivers on the back of the camera with Velcro and a rubber band but today we mounted it on the top handle. Any other idea's for mounting them? ---------------------- Hey Phillip, I have mounted it in all different kinds of configurations, But your best bet is to shorten up all those cables you have hanging everywhere and being that you are using the Miranda you can Industrial Velcro it under the Miranda on the back of the camera and then Tape it or strap it around the Miranda for stability. I have also made angle brackets to screw on to where the side audio usually mounts that way you can mount behind the Miranda but you need to put the angle adapters on your Miranda Cables. I prefer to keep everything center as oppossed to off to the side like most Audio set ups are. I was only able to get 1- 1/4"-20 screw through "The Mack" so there was some play I think I'm going to move it back to the top because at least it was a solid mount. Does the camera your using have the screw holes next to the gold mount where you would normally put the Anton Batteries. Good Luck ---------------- One more Idea, the two screws that attach the Miranda to the camera back on the top back of the camera, you could use those two screw holes and dual screw a mounting plate to them and then attach the audio recievers to it hanging off the back of the camera. I don't know how long you have to have this configuration or if it's even worth you doing these mods, but hey there's always future use. . . .LOL . . . TJ Williams Posted April 9, 2007 Report Share Posted April 9, 2007 Go to radio shack get the plastic to plastic (velcro like stuff) they sell. comes in black n white. I prefer black for everything. 2 pieces about 1/2 by 3/4" find open relatively flat parts on each side of the camera body and stick it on. Then put a piece on each of the wireless receivers. on the wide side, then stick them in place. You will have to remove the one receiver to change tape. Don't use too large a piece as you won't be able to get it off. Youv'e gotta dress the wires in tight better than that, suprised you didn't get caught on the set somewhere... This velcro type stuff is great for attaching the odd bit to a camera or rig, good to have in the kit. All that weight that far back must make it the very devil to fly?
