Premium Members Jamie Hammond Posted May 28, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted May 28, 2007 My batts are starting to play tricks recently so I fished out this Optex battery meter from its box and went about attaching it to my Master. I don't have any instructions for this instal as it was a 2nd hand purchase. There are 3 cables, red and black (+ and ground) and this white cable? I deboxed the thing and the white seems to follow the same path as the + so I left it off thinking maybe a low voltage meter or something. After connecting up to the battery plate I can get volts reading but no amps and also there is a load swith that basically says "No Load" when switched. I have only a very basic knowledge of electronics and I solder like a blind man with no fingers, so I thought that I would throw this open to anybody who has a more technical brain before I run out of solder and fingertips.
