Premium Members Afton Grant Posted June 25, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 Although it's far less incriminating, here's another great photo from the evening. More to come...
Premium Members David Allen Grove Posted June 25, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 A few more photos from the night can be found on the new and improved SG website. Ones where I don't look drunk. geez. how did that happen? (No, really.. I don't drink. ) I love the contrasting photos between Jim and Robert. Classic stuff. Premium Members Jessica Lopez Posted June 25, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 Good times on Saturday. Next time I see you guys we all have to do more jager bombs and Ron should leave the Lisigav at home. Thanks for the laughs!
Premium Members Charles Papert Posted June 26, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 26, 2007 I'm a tad embarrassed that my girlfriend Amy Jo is front and center yet she is the only one in that picture who doesn't make their living from things Steadicam related--but then again, she just may be the best sport since she comes to trade shows and Steadicam gatherings and never feins boredom. Plus Baldwin was doing a good job of keeping her entertained. Not sure what his left hand is up to though. And the tube of Lisigav is no-where in sight. Hmmm. Oh wait! Dan Coplan has it! Now THAT's appropriate.
Premium Members BJMcDonnell SOC Posted June 26, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 26, 2007 Those pics are genius Ron. We need a whole section on this forum dedicated to those pics alone. So funny. BJ McDonnell
Premium Members Charles Papert Posted June 29, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 Just found this pic of me and Baldwin making a discovery in the (un) appetizers...hmmm.
Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted June 29, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 Just found this pic of me and Baldwin making a discovery in the (un) appetizers...hmmm. An unsavory dish indeed. Exactly who was the sicko who thought to bring that special "condiment" for the party? Ron, it was all gone by the time it got to me... tell me... was it the Southwestern Chipotle Chile flavor or the Pesto Basil Cream sauce? Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted June 29, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 I'll let BJ explain why he needed it. that picture is awesome Chas! rb
Premium Members BJMcDonnell SOC Posted June 29, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 That picture is pretty fantastic I agree. Well, Ron told me of the wonders of Lisigav. He said it kept his gimbal nice and smooth so I just had to give it a whirl. Not many people other than myself, Ron, Brad, Geoff, and Charles gave the lisigav tent at cinegear much notice. They were located behind the beer tent. BJ McDonnell
Premium Members Brad Grimmett Posted June 30, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 Chas, that's great. But I think you have a little too much time on your hands.
Premium Members Charles Papert Posted June 30, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 I'm on location this week, one mile above sea level (yup, Denver), trying to stave off the altitude sickness by keeping off the sauce/cavorting--thus plenty of time on my hands sitting around the hotel room at night (have yet to sleep through a night either, check out what time I posted that little morsel this morning). I sense that some of you might be hinting that I doctored the Lisigav shot. Heresy. But I submit the following: here is a stand-up dolly that we rented locally for some high-speed shots. It was quickly dubbed the Hannibal Lecter-Cam by on-set pundits as I was wheeled around the place.
Premium Members Charles Papert Posted June 30, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 ... however another late-night session magically revealed the true identity of the Lecter-Cam operator. Tick-tock, Clarice.
Premium Members RonBaldwin Posted June 30, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted June 30, 2007 you should rub some lisigav on that elbow.
Premium Members Charles Papert Posted July 1, 2007 Premium Members Report Share Posted July 1, 2007 That's how I injured it in the first place. The rubbing was too vigorous.
