chris reynolds
Wasnt there a page in the Tiffen workshop file about standing/sitting on moving vehicles safely? Maybe Jerry should update the pictures and include army vehicles? chris
Premium Members Lars Erik Posted August 4, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 4, 2008 Just out of curiosity. Why doesn't the operator ever tell the tank driver to stop? The shot obviously doesn't work...
chris reynolds
Just out of curiosity. Why doesn't the operator ever tell the tank driver to stop? The shot obviously doesn't work... Tank drivers normally wear headphones so they're in contact with the rest of the crew so anything thats happening outside the headset cant be heard . Also the engine of a tank is so loud that anything short of a nuclear blast wont be heard by anyone inside...or on top. As far as getting the tank to stop, im sure the operator is in some sort of semi- panic and resonable thought has abandoned him. Is the rig going to break...will i fall off...if the tank stops will i shoot forward of the front? Does anyone know if he was properly scured on? chris

Premium Members William Demeritt Posted August 5, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted August 5, 2008 Herve, I'm inclined to think the soundtrack was the best option, because I know I'd be muttering obscenities with every tree branch.
