Premium Members Robert Starling SOC Posted October 4, 2008 Premium Members Report Share Posted October 4, 2008 I stumbled across this article / press released linked below on the Lectrosonics wireless audio web site. It discusses in some detail the potential impact or actually lack of impact of the Feb 2009 DTV changes in frequency allocation for broadcast television switching to digital transmission. Obviously it is related to audio blocks but I think it translates well if not exactly to some of our concerns as to whether our Modulus and CanaTrans etc transmitters will continue to be functional. Lectorsonics DTV Frequency Spectrum / DTV Advisory The intricacies of wireless audio transmitters and receivers for film/video is not my field of expertise but I think this article added a bit of clarity in my mind. Also, their web site contains a well organized matrix of audio blocks and broadcast television frequencies.
