I can get both the receiver and the transmitter to power on, but I can't get a picture. Just static. Both seem to require 12V, and there isn't any manufacturer name on it. Just "Wireless AV Receiver & Transmitter" is printed on the receiver. Other than that, I'm pretty much at a loss. Any help here would be great. Here are some pictures. I wonder if the transmitter I have was ever meant to be used with that receiver. Like I said, I don't even know where it came from. Either way this system seems pretty cost effective and it runs on 12V, but I've never heard of anyone using something like this. What are everyone's thoughts on a device like this? It's 900MHZ which I think is the same frequency as a Bartech. Will I be setting myself up for a ton of interference problems if I try this? Are there ways to work around around it? They aren't meant for moving around, which is what you do with the Steadicam and i suspect reception would be poor. Also looks rather bulky. Supercircuits does sell smaller transmitter/receiver packages, but do yourself a favor and buy a Modulus or Canatrans or similar product. There are often used ones for sale listed on this forum.
