NEW Lightweight 75 ohm BNC Cables for Sale

I recently outfitted myself with the tools and supplies to assemble lightweight, flexible BNC cables. The cables and connectors are all rated at 75ohms, and all parts and materials are NEW. By default I'm making the cables 6' long, but I can certainly make you a cable at a custom length. Here's what I'm asking:

1x 6' Cable @ $60+Shipping

2 x 6' Cables @ $95+Shipping

For custom lengths greater than 6' please add $10 plus $2.00/ft.

These cables work great for composite, component or SDI signals... and their lightweight nature makes them perfect for starting an umbilical and keeping rig weight down. Every ounce counts!

I accept PayPal or Check.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email at ben@bensemanoff.com

Job, Doc...do those cables compare favorably with the ones that, say, Panavision supplies for use with the Genesis as jumpers? nice and flexible? They are not solid-core though, are they?

Not sure what PV supplies but they are supple, braided core.

Hi Jens:

"very flexible" is of course very much in the eye (or flexibility-sensing-nerve center!) of the individual. I ordered a couple of those BTX cables and found them a bit stiff--not terrible, but not any better than other lightweight HD cables already in my possession.

I think we had this discussion before a few years ago. I'm doing a digital show now (F23) and we are running 444 through what looks to be 2 very similar thin BNC cables 6 feet off the camera to the back of the vest and down 100' of normal BNC loom provided from Clairmont back to the deck and experiencing no drop outs to date. I know this is discouraged by PV for the Genesis, but the DIT has no problem with it. I may add that these are much thinner and more supple (think Barry White voice) than the ones I have used from PV before. I'm no engineer but I suspect that in such short jumper runs the ratings are not applicable and they perform just fine for digital.

Hey Ben,

I gotta jump on the band wagon too, sorry brother

Crimpers, Cutter, 75ohm mini cable (30ft), heat shrink and BNC ends, (20 of them) = $200

I know I'm not the only one making my own BNC cables right?
