[What about the jobs where they ask you to work hourly , when I said hourly I mean literally 2 hours , what I usually find out after laughing at the producers is that they have another guy who will do it . Now, as you already mentioned before I would not mind if we are talking about shorts or non profit jobs , I know everyone wants to get some experience at some point , but the reality is that these jobs are regular productions , Should we start to list some names of operators that they actually do this on a daily bases? I know it would be really bad , but we need to all come up we some sort of solution . I am aware that now is not a great time for a lot of people , but that it does not mean that we need to degrade ours skills and investments . We are not maids we don`t work that works couple of ours left and couple of our right . opinions and solutions are welcome ciaoooo...

Yes Mark I was flying this kind os cables , Not to mention that as now days Direcotrs and DP want to see HD picture back at video village , so the ghostbuster guy is attached to the monitors , that is what makes even harder for us , trying to figure 360`s , fast moves , running and so on..... it looks like we went back 30 years . Do they call this technology? sorry.!!!

Just got back from a show in Louisiana and had the same problem , I flly a Pro with Dionics 90 (Batteries are brand new), cine tape ,modulus , preston, Archos. No way to power up the recorder , I hade to fly with RG 179 hooked to the interface, with the Ghostbuster bag pack man following me , it was horrible.....!!! I also tried to put an A.B. 140 brick but no luck... I want the SSR back.....

I had the same problem on my back up unit Bartech and FMG 6, the problem was with the receiver , I don`t know so much about the fox I only used it in Europe a couple of time ,

as I probably mentioned already I am based in L.A. usually if I have a show out of the country production takes care of the shipping which is been Fed ex most of the time , when I work back in Italy as local I use either my other sled or I ship my Pro with Fed ex , if I need anything in terms of new gear and I am in Italy usually Goerge Paddock sends me everything and I can pay with Paypall or wire transfert. what show Roberto was working on in Victoria?

Yeah of corse I know Roberto , we call him Robertino , I know he just wrapped a show with Michael Mann e Dante Spinotti , "Public Enemy" in Chicago great operator.. Hi there I have done this before , I am from Italy but I am based in L.A so somentimes I send stuff over there the best way I have experienced so far is a regular international wire transfert , It will take 4 to 5 buiseness days but it`s secure . All you need to do is asking to your bank the Routing Number the Swiff Code and your account number keep in mind that they will charge the sender for the bank operation it is usually 70$ every 6000$ you send I hope this can help you ah.. by the way I know every body in Rome ,are you selling stuff to someone over there ? ciao..

I there fellas , I was wondering if you guys charge the same rental for every kind of Union show , I own a GPI 2 with all kind of back up stuff Preston,Bartech , TB6 Monitor, LCD spare,two video transmitter, and a back up 3A sled etc.... I got a call for a tier 2 show and I still need to make a deal on the rental , would you charge as much as on a tier 3 or a regular union show? that`s what I would probably do , just curius thanks ...

Hi there, The Titan is really good sistem I never had a problem in USA I work just a week ago in Vegas and I was surrounded by many 2.4MHZ wireless lighting devices it worked just great , you will be fine

Dave , as far as modulus 3000F or V you need to know that they are discontinuos I have been calling the entire country to find one , but no luck also if you add all the cables that you are going to need it goes over your budget it will be complite at least 3700$ Cantrans is a great system but just transmitter itself costs 3900$ and the modulus 4000 it would not be release until the new year
