  11. After reading the post about MK-V I thought about how lucky I have been with the customer services I have received with all the gear I own. Bartech Engineering/Jim Bartell, Tiffen/Peter Abraham, Stanton Video Services/Jim and Lori Stanton and now Camera Dynamics Artemis/Len Donovan and Bob Carr top my list. We all have a great tool in this forum to use not only to research gear but to learn about the relationships the companies have with the professionals on this forum. I am also proud to be a member of a group of people that not only share knowledge and information ........but from what I've read, send gear around the world to help members in need. The more we post our experiences good or bad the better off we will be. Regards, Adam Keith www.qvideo.tv

  13. I purchased a new Artemis EFP Pro HD/SDI Sled with a Transvideo Monitor to replace my EFP Sled. I want to thank Bob Carr, Len Donovan, Chris Oneill and Curt Schaller for their help in placing the order. We had a few hurdles to overcome getting the sled and accessories from Germany but the team at Camera Dynamics handled each hurdle quickly and professionally. Curt was in NYC last week. Len set up a meeting at Camera Dynamics NY State facility. It was great to get Curt's perspective and advice on the Artemis. He also went thru all the menus on the Transvideo monitor with me. 19. The Steadicam Operators Assoc. provides a "Steadicam Resource Manual" that I believe includes sled weight. It might need some updates with the newer sleds, arms and vests. http://www.steadicam-ops.com Regards, Adam Keith
  20. Ron has sent my 5 batteries back to me. He came across them when he started to unpack a storage trailer, while in the process of setting up a new building. Since he required more time to set up the new building for recelling and wouldn't be able to work on them for a couple more weeks he thought it best to send them back. We spoke for a while on the phone He apologized for not getting information out on his company's troubles in a timely manner to us all but did explain the long list of troubles they have had. From a tree hitting his building, trouble with AT&T and his phone system, emails that where never sent and empoyees leaving, it sounds like he has had his hand full. Take it for whats it worth, he did tell me that new sales orders are now quick turnarounds and recells will be up and running after his new building is online. I appreciated him sending my batteries back while in the middle of his nightmare. Once he is completly up and running I suggested that he post it on this forum. Regards, Adam Keith
  21. The free upgrade does replace the "pin" in the post of the original design. I had this done to my arm and have had no issues. The upgrade I posted is a new design that allows a quick change of post and the use of longer posts on the G-50. Regards, Adam Keith
  22. Tiffen now has another G-50 upgrade I just odered mine thru Peter Abraham. Tiffen Item # 802-7235-03 G-50 Arm Post Upgrade Kit $350.00 Tiffen (631) 273-2500 Regards, Adam Keith
