Sled with monitor ready to fly
Eric Fletcher S.O.C. replied to Mark Stitzer's topic in Steadicam Marketplace - Wanted
I'm selling a XCS Ultimate.... -
Hi Eric, The cost of this product is high, and we are not allowed to supply free samples, I am sorry, but everybody in China knows that the cheap one is not good one, and there is no free lunch. If you are really interested and sincere to be airpul's distributor, and we are very happy, but as a start, you should also show your sincerity of cooperation. We need full information of your company as well, because we will choose to cooperate with which company. Hope you can understand. Have a nice day! Define High Cost. It's not uncommon for a manufacture to lend out $50K of equipment to demo. Surely you transmitter isn't $50K. I have no desire to be your distributor, I merely want to evaluate your gear and possible purchase a transmitter/receiver pair.

I saw it at band pro and while the color is spot on and the quad split is nice it's a not a daylight viewable monitor. Convergent suggest that you use a full hood for it

No beef, just want to know why you think it's okay to post in a non transmitter thread about "Your" transmitter, ESPECIALLY when you call out other transmitter manufactures

On the MK-V is a combo of the things, the post clamps arnt concentric, and the carbon fiber center post wasn't centerless ground and while round is not on center (contrary to what Jerry posted) I had (very past tense) one of the pro conversion post's and experienced this

Gear disappearing on set, how to handle it.....
Eric Fletcher S.O.C. replied to Adam Smith's topic in General Discussion
You'd be hard pressed to get my name off my gear. No labels for me, Laser Engraving -
Sounds like the post has been ground off center

Define filthy. Wipe the arm with a damp microfiber and that should do. If it's muddy remove the cartridges and hose out the arm. The cartridges should require zero maintenance. In 13+ years my arm has been to PRO twice for cleaning. I've garden hosed it four or five times and wiped it down for any other cleaning The arm just works and doesn't really need much in the way of cleaning.
