  1. Those are really good links William and Dean! Not only do these little flat panels need to bee pointing in different directions but they also need to be rotated differently up to 90 degrees for different polarizations. (some straight, some 45 and some 90). So it will be interesting to find some where the bracket easily allows this. Dean, I am not sure that is the one HP use. 16 degrees or 8 degrees seem like a very small pattern. I would expect to see panels with around 70 degree to 100 degree patterns. 16 or 8 degree seem like direct links to me but I defer to someone with better knowledge in these matters.
  2. Yeah, I've seen panels with 5 antennas all integrated but at different angles. I've looked high and low but I can't find where to buy them. Small panels would be cool. Put them on a T bar and point them and twist them differently.
  3. Its cool.. managed to pay paypal

    Awesome

  4. I just signed up to get the monitor. Should I ring you to give you my card details?

    Thanks

    Thomas

  5. No doubt its manufacturing is a concern. Thats why I want to send SMA cables to an Antenna array and keep the whole thing far safer.
  6. Mine does. Maybe use the chrome browser instead of the native one. Samsung s2
  7. Thanks Rich,
  8. Which sized California Sunbounce Wind Killer did you guys buy? 130cm x 190cm? Best Regards Thomas
  9. I got 2 or 3 batteries powering the general power on my MK-V and I can tell if one of those batteries is dying by the voltmeter and how quickly its dropping when focus is pulled etc. Basically I can tell when something is up and know to check my batteries. On the Gen 2 though I do see myself just putting a battery on the back of it. Do you get Burritos for breakfast?
  10. The bracket you have obviously nicely balances in the middle of the monitor. Would it be possible to make an offset bracket so one could rotate the monitor with a battery on the back and the CG is central? Is there a voltmeter in there? I love my transvideo voltage readout. As I get to know the setup I can tell that batteries are going down just by glancing at the volts.
  11. When can we see pictures? Will we see photos before the first batch are made?
  12. William, I was thinking about the additional boom range they have managed to implement on the Atlas.
  13. Do you think they are going to update/replace the Titan? With a new model?
  14. Will you have a new style monitor at Cinec?
  15. Can someone get a lightmeter and feed a Transvideo HD and a Cinetronics the same greyscale and report spot meter readings? I think Erwin was inquiring as to whether there was one in Europe to look at not if you could take the monitor in the bubble bath at 1:30am.. that was me.
  16. We are talking minimum a $10,000 setup.
  17. Can I use the monitor in torrential rain with only protection to the back of the monitor where the connectors are?
  18. Does it still coincide with OctoberFest? I am thinking of going. Little Ops party would be nice!
  19. Wow! Are there any diversity receivers already out there to tickle this chicken?
  20. Cool, Eagerly anticipating the stats on the baby.
  21. Maximum speed sprint is a bad idea on a rickshaw as it leaves nothing left for the grip to speed up to pull it backwards to slow it down... If you see what I mean.
  22. Lets face it. In my experience of HD signals as a whole on BNC cables and especially HD transmitters/receivers. Its not going to travel far. Unless you have a massive Yagi pointing straight at it.
  23. Surely the Canatrans SD and Modulus never had FCC approval? Its not legal to open your own mini pirate TV station is it... Except maybe on the Arctic. I'd buy one in an instant and it sounds like it might have some longevity as well. $7000 seems high but yeah... I'd have one. The DigiTV signal is certainly a LOT less forgiving than Standard Def analogue. So I wonder how this will work out. We can have any array of set top box's and Antenna arrays all off the shelf consumer stuff so I am very excited. I wonder what the differences between European and US systems will be.
  24. Yeah they are the same. At least my Switronix RECON actually says "Pro-X" on the casing. Its cool, its cheapish, itn has antenna sockets which is a pain if you want the director to roam with it on the back of the handheld monitor (he'll break it) but great if you want to set up a bigger better antenna array. Is it gonna be better than the new CAMWAVE coming out.. dunno.
