  2. Hey Matteo! I had talk with Marco via phone some days ago for ask him a favour. Then, I found this very similar and particular rig on ebay. I wasn't sure it was his steadicam... anyway, something told me: "I must say to Buzz what I found!" So, I sent the ebay page via pm on his facebook profile. Hope all returns to the real owner!!! Best, Steve.
  3. Never tried it, but I heard good words about it! Expecially for the Gold arm!
  4. Hey Louis! Awesome! Here's the genius! I'm still making a budget for buy soon the new Bartech Digital-Kit! The bracket for the receiver WAS my problem... velcro it's a good choise but not for all things! I'm sure your bracket will be on my order list! Thanks Man! I'm an happy guy now! Steve
  5. Hi Dan... Maybe a one second of static balance??? :P No... Realy, Eric has right! Steve
  6. Hi! All depends on the side of the camera. If you fly with a camera in reverse mode or not. The best way it's to have a image flip/mirror mode built into your crt Monitor for do a quick low mode balance without flipping the Monitor or the camera body. But if you must to shooting a real low mode, and you can't flip the images in your monitor, you are forced to have the crt monitor in right mode (with the screen to the sky) or overturn the camera body leaving the monitor in it's original position. Anyway, extending the all center post, it's the key! Without a long post, it's hard to see clearly the images. Steve
  7. Hey Mike! How are you friend??? What's up??? Why are you selling your Pro Sled??? Do you'll upgrading to an other rig?? All the best for your career! Steve.
  8. Like loose.... The problem could be the quake/shake of your legs if you have no training. Steve
  9. Hi Yoni. The vibrations on this sled are famous... someone say that happen when the post is fully extended. Anyway, those can be the reasons of your problem: zoom lens, mattebox, rods or camera don't fixed, slack between vest and arm, slack between gimbal and armpost, wrong tension of the springs, slack between monitor and monitor arm, slack of the extra weights and finally, slack of the batteries! More the masses are moved away from the centerpost, more there is a danger to increasing this type of problem. Hope not had forget anything. Best, Steve.
  10. Pay attention Fred! We have talked several times about the Luna Arm in the Arm Forum. For me the best (3A model) arm ever made. An example: http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=10666 I heard also, very good words about the Steadyrig "Hugo" Arm. Anyway... This is the Robert Contact: (from a reply by Erwin) Robert Luna: Luna Az-Tech work 1 (323) 938-5659 mobile 1 (310) 621-4763 e-mail rluna56@earthlink.net And this is the Hugo Contact: Hugo Langer Rig Engineering Melbourne, Australia tel: +61-3-9898-6298 fax: +61-3-9898-6218 www.steadyrig.com admin@steadyrig.com Best, Steve.
  11. Hi Kiril! Did you do a TV work??? The 1st AC obviously, in the Film/Movie Market. Sometimes is required the zoom control to the Steadicam Op. but nothing more, or... your boss didn't know how the S.Op. works. Best, Steve.
  12. Hi Alan. Your problem it's very strange. Fox Unit it's a very precise wireless follow focus. I spent wonderfull moments and jobs with this Brand but at the same time, it's so delicate and you must to take care of this Unit in particular more than a most famous "war-soldier unit" like Bartech. Now, (with BDR) it can also calibrate the focus automaticaly, so... there aren't no importants differences between the 2 units. The FOX follow focus it's a brand more famous in Europe than in the USA, (in fact it's a German Production). Anyway, generally the FOX forgets its calibrature when you power off the receiver and than, after a few minuts, you switch on the unit. I never had any problem with the FMG-6 or HEDEN Motors. Try to switch off the Recevier and the Hand/Transmitter Unit for a 10min. and then turn on both and restart the calibration... It should work! Let me know. Best, Steve.
  13. Thanks Ron! This week-end I'll working on a short film... So, I'll take a pic of my frameline and we'll can see the difference between your and mine. Hope to have some news from you or other TB-6 owners very soon. Best, Steve.
  14. Realy Ron? And what did you do for fix it? Steve
  15. Hi Folks! For the TB-6 owners: Somebody know why the vertical frame line on the right side can't go at the end of the video signal on my TB-6 monitor like the frameline in the right side??? Here the spec. It happens also: with the Second Digital Frameline in all 8 pages of framelines menu with SD signal from 35/16mm cameras and SDI signal from HD cameras with downconverter and... in all "reset" pages (1.33,1.66,1.85,2.40) The strange thing, it's that the "incorrect" frameline goes at the end of the signal when the TB-6 it's in the third (bars+serialnumber) channel. Anyone had a similar problem??? Thanks, Steve.
  16. Defenitly, I LOVE IT! Wish to have a work "like that" very soon! ;-) Steve "model's body lover" Ben.
  17. Congrats Charles! Hope the best for your carrer in the film industry as DP. Steve
  18. Hey Fabri! Thanks a lot! The receiver unit it's ok now! ;-) For the operators that will have this problem in the future: I tryed before to hold the switch when the unit was "on" and it didn't work! This operation goes ok when the unit it's "off", you must to switch on and change the channel at the same time! I love this forum! THANKS! Steve
  19. Hi Guys! I own the Transvideo TITAN Units from 3 years. I never had any problem... I also buyed an additional antenna for increase the video signal. Yesterday, I made a check for a film starting next week and I had some issue. Never about the power or the video signal... but a different symbol (a letter) was appear on the little red display of the receiver. I always saw numbers in both units (Transmitter and Receiver). Like i said, yesterday I tested the units and I have this problem (please, see the pic attached). The transmitter was powered by the video/pwr lemo on lower junction box, and had it's normal "stilo" antenna, instead the recevier was powered by an external anton bauer battery via power tap and connected to my "big" antenna for increase the signal. I don't think that my antenna gave the problem to the receiver because the problem remains without it and I just used this antenna in past works and never have any change of numbers or letters. The video signal was perfect. The recevier was in "A" and the transmitter in "3". I tryed to understood this "change" from the instructions, but it didn't say nothing about numbers. Only about the letters with its differents mhz, but I never saw letters on the both units!!! So, please, does anyone have this problem?? Can you let me know what I can do for have the numbers on the receiver???? Thanks!
  20. Hi Richie! I own an Archos 605 160gb with a DVR Station adapter. recording in h264, works great! Never had any problem with it! Steve
  21. Hi Dougie! Several times I had work for all night with the M26VE at -3 celsius / 26.6 Fahrenheit and I didn't have any problem with it! The real problem it's the condensation of internal circuits if you take the items (the receiver unit expecially) from an internal temperature to an external cold place, without switch on it's power. Anyway... The Motor doesn't have any issue, take care of your receiver unit! It's the most delicate! Seriusly... The water + the cold it's the key of your problem! the cold don't make anything to your motor... but when the water becomes ice... there its the big trouble!! The ice blocking the internal mechanisms! You must to keep dry the unit! Attached... photo about: me, my assistant with Digifox Chrosziel + Heden M26VE, and my backup light rig for extreme "cold nights" jobs! ;-) Steve "Haway Lover" Ben.
  22. Great words Tomas! You're Right! WK Vest it's no good for my body also... With it I felt some pressure on my stomach! But The Ultra2 Vest (Mine) it's great and so comfortable on my body! Best Steve "thin" Ben
  23. Matteo, Just an advice. I read that you'll not sell your vest, remember that your Archer Light Vest it wasn't designed for carry more weight than the capacity of G50 Arm. So... take care of your body! Let me know if you wish to have some advice for your next choice. I'll glad to help you! Fly Safe! Best, Steve
