  1. Any reason for keeping the arm separate from the vest? The padded soft case it comes with the arm inside the vest inside a 1620 works quite well for my g50.
  2. Try before you buy. You ask 10 operators what the best rig is and you'll get 20 different answers. What features do YOU care about? Tiffen is very good at all in one rigs with lots of power and lines down the post. The built in super posts, tilt heads, and motorized stages are handy on some jobs as well. PRO is drop dead simple as others have said. You can clean their arms with a garden hose if you need to and you can build a sled in parts. XCS is rigid and can be just as reliable as Pro, but more features can mean more problems. There's no best overall, there's best for you. Steadicams all work on the same principle and physics. Everything else is just gravy.
  3. I like mine enough I'd buy another as a backup and for non steadicam gigs. I'm in
  4. I wish I saw this sooner, I'll take some pictures of my set up tomorrow. I use a plastic buckle zip tied to the fiber jumper end of the connection and velcroed to my vest, and an S shaped carabiner farther back on the vest that the fat cable clips into. All on my hip on the socket block side. Credit goes to Dave Bittner for the way I have mine set up.
  5. also still for sale. Lots of interest, No follow through.
  6. I have one for sale state side. I can get you a shipping quote if you want.
  7. I believe Andy Schwartz with Uncommon camera has one. I have a Handsfree Transporter with hardmount if that will work.
  8. I was totally off. I thought you were asking if anyone knew a 4 foot pervert working for Russia Today in Venezuela
