  1. I agree with the workshop advice. There are a lot of options these days but, the efp is definitely a great rig. There are many posts on the forum about this rig that you should read.

The great thing about the efp is its modularity. Since owning mine I have made mods and upgrades but, I had flown everything from large eng cameras to Arri Sr’s stock. The modification options are practically endless and there are company’s out there that already have plug and play upgrade options for most, if not every part of the rig. A huge plus is that the rig has “standard” professional parts that are interchangeable with most of the reputable company’s around the world. Things like a 1.5’ center post, standard socket block size, etc. As long as the arm is in good shape you can switch out the springs with rig engineering, Luna, or even just 3A if you’re concerned over weight issues. I have yet to max out my stock efp arm and I have flown quite a few Red’s.

I have been thinking of selling my trusty efp because I have a pro sled and vest now but, I’ve been hesitant because I only own one arm. I would be willing to part with the rig if the price was right. I could put that money towards a new arm. Let me know if you’re still in the market.

So you are trying to sell your rig?

I maybe interested send me a price on email and we can talk.

    Thanks

  2. Hello looking for a system to use for tv only. No need for any film add on's. Like the tiffen vest, luna or tiffen arm mk-v sled price could change all.

25 pound camera, both sony and thompson. Would enjoy a focus and zoom control as well. This is HD video. Any and all parts could be purchased. We be buying by the end of August.

    Thanks
