I just bought an analog Bartech on ebay, it was not expensive and of course it was not working well it was "chopy" when I tried to pull focus. I am in Paris France and could not send the Bartech to US.
Hopefully I found Carmine Zecca in Italy that took the Bartech and did all the repairs and now it is working perfectly. I love this old style follow focus that is so easy to set up. I use it with my Zeiss ZF lens. 15, 21, 28, 35, 50 macro, 85, and 100 mm. For the 2 last lens I have to use a lens support(DIY) for the lens to be perfectly stable.
If you are in Europe Carmine Zecca is a great technician for repairs. His mail is carmine.zecca(at)panalight.it
