  1. Looks great! I am glad your design does not include a seat with your rig, like the regular india mount. Is it for sale? Or are you willing to make another? Let me know on price and availbilty, My name is Martin, you may reach me at 407-427-0381 or reach_productions@yahoo.com. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hello everyone, I had a direct email sent to me from the manufacturer... from what it looks like a direct target to all Jimmy Jib operators. A pdf file was included. It has close to all the specs we would like for our rigs. http://www.bon.co.kr/eng/products/models.html?model=bsm152h Here is the offer: "Special offer, pre-order promotional period, January 30, 2013: USD $1,899. List Price: 2,699.00 Wire transfer or Paypal. Delivery lead time middle of February. Warranty 15 months after delivery date. Shipped from Seoul Korea by DHL or FedEx." It also contains bank information to send funds over. All information included in pdf file. I have a pdf file I need to uplink for you guys to see, but the .pdf file is way too big to upload, I would gladly email the pdf for you all to see. It contains specs and pictures, but the pictures looked "enhanced". So, I hope someone has some experience with these monitors... I wish I can go to NAB to compare all monitors. Personally, I have the Marshall monitor: http://www.lcdracks.com/monitors/model/V-R1041DP-AFHD.php Its okay, but too weak in sunlight, no 3G-SDI, HDMI support.
  3. Hello Chris, The monitors look and spec-wise looks great! Just like the Steadicam guys, I have to accomodate all kinds of cameras and deal with all sorts of inputs imaginable and for both indoor/outdoor situations. However, I have a few questions... Is there a XLR power option? Also a 3/8 screw mount for monitor so I can mount to a Cardillini Clamp? Any chance to mount a battery for portable power for IDX or Anton brick? Is it possible to post a .pdf user manual with listed specs that I can see? Is the 16:9 switchable to 4:3 and vice versa? Adjustable action safe lines? Focus assist or equivalent? Is there a price? Sorry for the avalanche of questions, looks like I want a all-in-one wonder monitor. Thanks! Best Regards, Martin reach_productions@yahoo.com
  4. Hello Brian, Thanks for the corrections. My bad. I was in middle of corrections when the "edit post" timed out on me. Sorry for the confusion. However, I appreciate the speedy response. I will have a look at the Cinetronic. Thanks! -Martin
  5. We have some pictures of the 12.1" high bright screen on the Cinetronic facebook page. Hello all, Sorry for the intrusion from a jib operator, (by the way, I am not the jib operator that Chris mentioned) but since we are looking at monitors with similar requirements I hope you guys have some insight in this. I am a Jimmy Jib Triangle owner/operator based in Central Florida. I am looking into a monitor that has good contrast as well as maximum brightness in full daylight just like you steadicam ops are looking for. I need good versatility in connections from HDSDI, component, RCA, HDMI and the like. Because all my clients has all sorts of cameras that I need to mount and operate on the jib... from DSLRs - REDs-ENGs-film cameras to EX-1 and 3's just to name a few. Anyways, I am searching for a decent monitor that is good for indoor as well as outdoor use. (I am not the jib operator that Chris mentioned)I guess an all in one package... or should I get different monitors for indoor and and a different for outdoor use? Currently, I am using Marshall Monitors 7 inch HD screen with HDSDI and video in and out. Ideally for me I would like to see a 10-15 inch monitor. I guess I am out of luck in terms of recomendations since you guys like them around 7-9 inches eh? Marshall has a screen that is easy to adjust focus on. I would also prefer to have an option to have a external battery either V-mount or Anton as well as the option for hard power. Since I work quite a few times in golf courses or remote areas... it is hard to find power unless I bring a loud gas powered generator with me. Since I am familiar with Marshall monitors... I am looking into this model: http://www.lcdracks.com/monitors/model/V-R1041DP-AFHD.php I would love to have a yoke built so I can adjust the monitor's pitch automatically when I am booming up or down on the jib. This looks promising: Inclomonitor Anyways I hope some of you guys can share some insights with me. Since I am from a different specialty in terms of camera support, I feel we share some common requirements for monitors. However my requirements do not necessarily represent all jib operators out there, I guess everyone is a bit different. I welcome anyone to chime in. Thanks in advance! Best Regards, Martin
