attached photo may or may not be a certain person we know... plus I put the bar over the faces so know one will ever know who's who... not saying that that's you!?!
You can't fool me! I'd recognize Bill Hammond anywhere!
=)
I'm planning on going this year. I have something on hold that might take up that entire month though. good, and bad.

That's great to hear a positive aspect of the situation Timothy.
Thanks for letting us know.

I buy my Camos at the army surplus store. Sometimes they put bullet holes in them so they will sell faster.

Thanks everyone for the help.
I'll ask about steadimags. I'm guessing they won't be available. But no low mode, just walking around a stage.
Thanks for the low mode bracket offer.
My main concern is the weight without steadimags, and the power requirement. I'm running single Hytron 120s. (1 battery for the Bartech, Cinemonitor, and camera.
I don't know if there is a HS Base for this shoot or not.
I haven't been able to find much info on this camera via the internet. I know it's an older one, But I've never used it.
Hey Brian,As those have said before, Steadi mags are a must, especially if you need low mode. For low mode, if they can't provide you a low mode bracket, give me a call. I have one designed specifically for the Arri 3, and it's been collecting dust for a while now. You can use it for the cost of shipping back & forth.
BTW, the Cinematography Electronics high speed base needs it's own 12v power. You're not supposed to use a Y cable, but give it dedicated 12v power. So that's one 12v feed to the camera, and one 12v feed to the HSbase. Most people do this from the AUX power output on a PRO J Box. Since you have a different rig, you should test this ahead of time.
Good luck,

I have a shoot next week with the ARRIFLEX 35-III.
Will it even work with an EFP? it's stock, aside from a Monitor upgrade, and a G50 arm.
Thanks
-
Still available. Give your wife a great christmas present! An EFP arm!
*I'll include a bow if needed. If bow isn't available, gaff tape will be substituted.

Will trade for cash

I'm in Sydney for a few weeks, and wasn't able to bring my merlin.
I'd love to have one for a few things I'd like to shoot. Does anyone have one I could borrow / rent (hire) for a few days?
I have an HVX to safely secure to the top. =)
PM me here, or email me at

I have a live HD multi-cam shoot happening one day in mid December. Can any ops recommend a good Steadicam Utility in South Carolina or know of someone that can work as a local in that state?
Thanks,

Jeff,
What part of SC will you be in?

$4,800 plus shipping.
This is an EFP arm with Blue Springs. It was recently cleaned and lubed, and works smoothly.
The SN is #504. I am the second owner, it was purchased new.
It has Blue Springs that will support approximately 13-47lbs.
I have more photos at this link.
? Arm comes with canvas bag
? International buyers are fine
? Local buyers are fine too
? I'm open to offers
? Ask me questions
? I'll accept PayPal, if you split the fees with me.

Yeah, what's the best purchase option for you and Laurie? Amazon, personal check, Elsevier?
let us know.
Congrats on the book.

I'm looking to purchase an hvx-200 with cards. I'm also interested in a tripod to go with it, and eventually will get / want a mattebox. But if all you have is the camera for now is fine.
Thanks
-
Bud,
You should be able to buy an international calling card and use it to call (i.e. call the 800 number from your iPhone and then enter your pin, etc)
Yep, I do it all the time. Nobelcom.com has lots of card options, all with the fine print easily readable. I've been happy with them.
But Hugo's great about calling you too. =)
good luck

Hi Kristopher,
I don't know of an ultra in this area, just a broadcast master at a local film school here in Chattanooga.
Contact me if you need more info, and I can send you to the right guy. And I can tell you more about it.
Oh, there is a provid here too... he he... =)
My question is, does anyone know of any rental houses that carry an Ultra (or comparable too) in the Southeast (i.e. - Tenn, GA, North Carolina, etc.) without operator? In kind of a bind, so if you have any info, please let me know. THANKS!!elevationpictures@gmail.com

I have a few items for sale.
I know they are not directly Seadicam related, but I know a lot of ops have side lives as well. Mods, if this isn't allowed, feel free to delete.
I have photos if you are interested.
If I'm far off with a price, please kindly let me know.

Hugo,
This is something that has concerned me from time to time. I have an EFP, and if a breaker went bad during a shoot, I would be out of luck. I think about this when I'm ON the shoot though.
The one thought I had would be using a protected switch, that would be hard to accidentally bump. I see that your switch is in an out of the way place, but still having that added protection would make my mind rest a tad easier.
I have seen switches like what you have that need to be pulled up before switching. I'm sure there are many other designs too.
Thanks for the update!
good luck!

Ok, Price drop... gotta sell...

Arm is still available.

Hugo,
Thanks for the news on Elizabeth. That's great to hear.
We hope things continue to improve on her condition.

Dave,
It was just a stubby. FilmTools is the only place I've seen the Tgrip. I prefer the stubby though, simply for it's compactness.
-
Ok, I'm open to offers and or trades.
email me with your offers, and trade ideas.
Thanks
-
Still available.
-
ok, it's my reel, so be nice.
I recently gave notice at my full time job, so I'm starting to pass this around now.
It will only take 3 min of your time to watch, and send me a message.
Thanks

Alton,
There is no secret handshake, but you are asked to dynamically balance a merlin before you get your hand stamped.
That might not be true for this year, but better safe than sorry.
