There is no Best arm! You have to try/feel the arms and consider the best one for you, otherwise you will always doubt your choice ;-)

Good idea behind both, different in performance and use.
Ive only tried the M1 once at IBC last year and it was still not the final version I think ( I hope) .It wasnt as strong as I imagine ,pretty clumsy with the cable ,te size of the gimbal ,etc. This is subject of getting use to work with the tool I think.
The wave I own from the first batch .Lovely tool ,super strong ,easy to install /uninstall ( basically a click to the topstage )It helps a lot in some shots : side movements on uneven terrain, operating at the "wrong" side, changing directions ,etc. The bottom side here is that it adds a lot of height and weight ( to keep my sled short I have to use 3 paglock batteries and 2 kilo of dead weight )
Hope this helps at least a bit!
Cheers! -
Ill take the light meter and the brackets

The Wave1 is rock solid. I doubt your vibration is being caused by the Wave1.
Agree 100%

Call me "week" operator ,but mine is always on the sled .....
3 weeks with only one Pag L96E battery....
Good balance of the camera and turning "ON" and "OFF" the device only when necessary is the key .
THANK YOU Chris Betz!
P.S.: If you think having this device will make you better operator ,you are wrong...but it will help you keep your status as one....;-)

Great Rig!
If this was located in EU I would of give it a go !

Agreed. It doesn't get in the way too badly, except in low mode. I did hit my knee the first time in low mode. after I did it once I made sure I didn't do it again!
Using F-bracket in low mode is must.
I dont really think that this kind of device can be any thinner than the Wave....the only way is to make one that attaches directly to the post ,then you can be lower with the size of the top stage.
My 2 cents is that this is amazing product ,especially for the price .

If you wont find it and know the exact size and length I can send it to you from Sofia.
-
Screw that is 35mm in diameter doesn't have a place in a steadicam arm in my opinion .....may be 3,5mm?
-
Take 75.00 for it?
Can pay pal u right now?
OK, Ill go 120 EuR...

It's a cool mod, but if you guys aren't liking the Klassen vest for this reason, then you should try the Exovest, which manages to achieve exactly what you are after with this mod, without having to have a million different straps running over your body.
If it was only that easy.....
Is Mk-v “open” during the lockdown?
