  1. I have 2 Teradek Bolt Pro 2Ks for sale. These are less than 6 months old, very lightly used and in perfect shape. Both Receivers have V Mount Plates.

I am buying more gear so need to sell these. I will include FedEx Ground shipping as well.

    Each kit contains:

    1 x Bolt Pro 2000 Tx

    1 x Bolt Pro 2000 Rx

1 x P Tap to 2 pin Lemo power cable

    1 x AC adapter

    2 x BNC curly cables

    1 x spud mount

    1 x Pelican 1400 case

$7,000.00 per kit. Basically $1,000.00 less than retail...

  2. Hi Robert, Brooks... Just wanted to chime in here as well...I've just finished a run of 5.8GHz Panel antennas for either the Bolt Pro 2K or the Boxx Meridian. I was down in Irvine with the guys at Teradek a few weeks ago testing the antenna and range with the Bolt Pro 2K and we were able to get 2700' line of sight (800m +). We didn't do much interior testing for various reasons but I have done tests here in Vancouver and have gotten very good results through 2 and 3 walls. (I bought 2 Bolt Pro 2Ks)

If you are interested in looking and/or buying the antenna you can visit www.rocksteadipictures.com and follow links to the antenna pages.

Also, I am offering 10% off for forum members OR shipping to Canada or the USA.

    Best,

  3. Hi guys, William, no I hadn't thought of that. So, your thought is a kind of stand that the Monopod could sit in?

Thomas, yes, it's for resting, talking to DP, director, assistant, actor...between takes. As for the Hill bracket, basically the diameter of the inset has to match the diameter of your docking bracket. It sits down and is safely held...it can't come out unless it's lifted out.

Brett, I'll post an image with my rig in the pod if you like...

  4. This is our newest Monopod just out of the shop. The next ones to go out will have a Delrin sleeve mounted on the bracket. The 'foot' is a replaceable screw-in piece. Post is 1.5" anodized aluminium, bracket .75" anodized aluminium. This particular Pod is for a 2" post and a 2 7/8" docking ring. You'll wonder how you ever worked without one!!

  5. We've designed a few mounting options for the Teradek Tx and Rx. The Rx mount is meant for a standard spud/ baby stand (good for getting the Rx up high) and this particular Transmitter mount is designed for the Alexa (right-side 3/8" mount).

They are $100.00 USD each. Ready to ship.

  7. John, given those circumstances, your best bet would be the the Bolt. You and your client simply won't be very happy with the performance of the Camwave. The Bolt has tested well, next to no latency, small and robust. Make sure you get the receiver high on a pole next to video village and, in that 30m range, you should be just fine. One thing, though, you will lose signal if you go from outside to inside a building. Your set up should have one pair (Tx & Rx) outside and, if needed, one pair for your interior camera.

After the gig, post your results here for all to see...

  8. Hi guys, just reading this thread now...I have a machinist here whoi has made my monopod and docking brackets for years. He can machine a custom docking bracket for any dock ring. I use a one piece aluminum pod but he can do two piece screw-together pods of any length. They are bullet proof. If anyone is interested please feel free to contact me with specs and I can get it done and ship anywhere.
