Hello Forum Members,
I just wanted to check-in to say "hello".
First off, I have zero steadicam experience. I believe the most I've touched steadicam equipment was when I guided an operator through a sketchy move where he was walking backwards. LOL I currently work mostly in the commercial world as an LP, PM, AD, AC and of course I still PA. As you can tell, I'm at a bit of a crossroad in my career where I have to choose what I want to do with it.
I have been fascinated since the first time I laid eyes on a steadicam. I somehow stumbled upon this forum while reading manuals and other literature online.
I will be lurking around burning my eyeballs out after wrap reading threads old and new.
Also, If any operators need an extra hand I am happily willing to intern. Please message me and I will reply back with my contact info. =]
