The print connectors have been checked out.
GPI has been all over the boards and wiring, tapping on components, wires, and connections. They even froze the thing to try and get it to malfunction. It has been in their shop 4 times by itself and once with my sled.-- a generation II with the Ni Cad batts. it has never malfunctioned for them.
They think it is in the wiring in my my sled, which they don't work on anymore. What I now find off about this theory, is that the last time I had the problem, I took the monitor of the sled post so i could tap the monitor and sled with the vibrations isolated. Tapping on the sled produced no results, but just touching the switches, tapping on the monitor, or even gingerly moving the monitor, would cause the effect. When it is acting up it is so sensitive that virtually anything upsets it. When it is not acting up, I can not do anything to reproduce it. This is my big problem, I don't know to get it to act up.
