Joe, this is simply extraordinary operation. I had never thought that a pilot coupled with the 7D was capable of such professional, flawless stabilization.
This gives me hope, as I just recently purchased a steadicam pilot-aa mount to use with my 7D. I'm finding it really difficult to achieve dynamic balance with the small camera only mounted (and a tokina 11-16mm).
You mentinoned you did not have any weight plate mounted on the pilot, but any rails, mattebox or any kind of extra accessories at all you used alongside the 7d for that shot, or bare camera only?
