  2. Hi there, would like to attend an initiation course for Steadicam in Spain......preferably somewhere like Malaga...came across this one....wondering if recommended or not....or any others someone may know of or even be....or would there even be anyone in this forum willing to hang out with me and teach me for a day or whatever.....open to suggestions https://www.schooltraining.es/formacion/ver-curso/id/672/titulo/taller-practico-de-steadycam.html
  3. I haven't got one of those purpose made docking and balancing brackets at the moment......they are out of stock on the Proaim I have.....I was wondering....and this is a stupid question I guess.....whether mounting the handle of the gimble (as one does on the Arm) on the end of a C stand is OK to do the balancing part of it all.....I can't think why it would not be as you never hold the handle of the gimble perpendicular to the post......would like confirmation of my assumption.....sorry for the stupidity of this question hahaha
  4. appreciate the info Louis thanks!! but what is this?? "a lipstick camera and mount it to the viewfinder for a quick fix"
  5. Hello everyone, I'm new in here...thanks for reading this thread. I'm here straight from the cinematography.com forum So I've bought a mint 2nd hand ProAim Flycam Redking which takes up to 15lbs. I want to use it with my Aaton XTR XC 16mm camera + battery + Leica R 28mm f/2.8 (has the Nikon F mount) and weighs in at 13lbs approx. When I eventually get confident enough to shoot (probably many hours trying to balance it up) I will have the 'framing' problem as the camera can't take a monitor So I'm here to ask about what sort of 'hack' I could create to be able to frame my shots. Obvio
