  1. thanks for replying, what I wanted to know basically is it worth while having a center post that you can move sideways physically on the rickshaw, (either left or right) so you could have the camera in close to one on the wheels when you were in low mode, as opposed to having the post in the middle and having to stretch out with the arm to clear the rickshaw because of the length of the camera. I hope that makes sense! danny
  2. hello, I too am in the beginning process of starting to build a rickshaw and wondered if you guys could help me with something. Im from England and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some speed rail from? I've started looking but struggerrling to find it over here, perhaps its called something different? Matias, I couldn't work out how you move your center post from the center to the side..? and finally I noticed your wheels are at the back of your rickshaw, is there a reason for this? because I wondered if they should be in the center, but wasn't sure and was looking for any advice on the matter..? re the center of balance? thanks danny
  3. out of interest, why did you do the optex course as opposed the SOA one, was it a money or time issue.. im just trying to weigh up all the issues.. and how much experince did you have..? thanks danny
  4. Hello everyone, I read with interest Gordens e-mail and like him I am going to do a steadicam work shop in the US and am hoping to do one in the next couple of months. But my question is slightly different. I have been doing my own research and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what course to come over and do in the US as I live and work in London. Its obviously a big deal, as I'll be spending alot of money to come over and I want to make the right decision.. I have some experince and have access to a rig here and I am starting to put alot of practice in and have worked on shorts/music promos etc, but now I want to do a course.. and would just like to hear peoples opinions and experinces on courses and any other helpful hints about them.. thanks very much danny
