Just out of curiosity, how was everyone introduced to the Steadicam and when did you get hooked? LL

Charles, How did you convert HDMI out on the DSLR to HD-SDI for the BOXX? I'm looking into using the BOXX as my wireless video option but I'm mostly running DSLRs an am unsure of the best way to convert the signal. LL

Caleb and Andrew, Thanks for the info. Doing some quick measurements, I think I can fit into a Storm 2720 but need to look into it more. I'm not yet invested in a pro-battery system and don't plan on it anytime soon. Most other accessories will probably travel in my Lowepro Photo backpack, so it would just be sled and maybe arm. Thanks for the reminder on desiccant containers. I'm traveling to India in January and those will be a must then. Cheers, LL

All- I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I've been in love with Steadicam shots since first learning of the rig in my first film class. A couple summers ago I got to work on the Nightmare on Elm St. remake and was blown away watching Jacques Jouffret. He was a great inspiration and gladly answered all my questions. Freelance gigs have been going well, so I picked up a Pilot to run my 7D in August. It's been so much fun and I appreciate all the tips and tricks you all have contributed to those starting out. LL

Blake, What cases did you get? I need to travel with an essentially stock Steadicam Pilot and need to pick up some cases. Would you recommend two cases, or could I get away with one like it comes in the backpack? Thanks for the help! LL
