  1. Would like to sought help from moderator... i couldn't post in WTS marketplace... is there something that i am unaware of?
  2. Hi fabricio.... I did a little modification on my own on an sk2... I took out the whole monitor arm which is quite easy to take out and got myself a monitor bracket 1.5 from another member and totally rewire making 1 it sdi compatible and xlr female right angle for powering the monitor.....
  3. Yes we do use the pdw700 and pdw800.... Sometimes its quite flexible to have a recorder as a rf camera.... events where you need to record something urgently and running on efp mode where the technical team is barely bare bones and rf signal isn't strong..... So it helps as a backup recorder.... Hated the hdr1500 as the camera as the its not built to hold up rf and balancing it is a nightmare..... :)
  4. Using the pdw 700 with the cobham wireless tx unit ..... Quite a solid combi... Been flying it with a v-mount battery on camera as it is quite power hungry and the hytron couldn't keep up with its demand if i were to power from my sled.... Using an Archer1 sled with hytron 140 battery as anything lighter than 140 equates me to fly my post almost fully extended...... Using tally sensors made by tiffen for the sled... And my trusted j7 zoom with j7 focus unit as well...... No returns the whole studio are peppered with monitors....
  5. Anyone have any telescopic monitor bracket for 1.5 inch post... I need the monitor stub as well... If there is anyone who have 1 lying around catching dust than its time for a new home for them.... :)
  6. As a live operator i truly appreciate this rig design and powering options.... Sometimes a set requires the lower sled to be small due to space and lighting restrictions and i love the design due to the fact it has a flat base which to me is important so that you could put it on a stacker box for commercial breaks without docking the rig.... And there is p-tap option which can power up a second monitor knowing that you won't blow up the circuit of that cheap 2ndmonitor.... Its painful to blow a return monitor due to over voltage.... Does PRO accept a kidney???
  7. http://news.doddleme.com/news-room/chinese-steadicam-knockoff-shows-up-on-ebay/..... I am incensed by this report.... Feel like telling the editor that he shouldn't quit his radio job... As technically he knows nuts......
  8. Am a volunteer soccer coach at a high school.... And supports a few kids who aren't well off and i believe giving back to society is a good thing.... It de-stresses me and its a joy to watch kids eyes light up everytime u give away a soccer cleat to not well off students.... And what goes around comes around and karma always right.... :)
  9. Hmmm nt too sure about s.k monitor.... But it mine is 4:3 aspect ratio and not switchable... Took out the monitor and did some modifications so as i could use an lcd monitor.... But i used an external battery on the monitor as so to help balancing purposes
  10. Yes victor lazaro.... Any thoughts??? @eric fletcher posted it via iphone and having big fingers on a tiny screen doesn't help... Accodentally swiped the post button... Hence the second post....
  11. I mean cobham wireless broadcast system???
  12. I am using a j7 with zoom with a remote focus.... But the eng lenses have to a motor for both zoom and focus in order for it to work....
  13. Hong kong un missable shopping paradise in shenzen... Its a boat ride from mainland hongkong all the electronic gadgetry... And enjoy the light pollution its really bright at night... And citygate outlet shopping centre , hongkong is a shopping paradise.... ;)
  14. Hi matthew can it fit a marshall??? If it does i'll take it... Looks like it needed the spud from transvideo.....

  15. Well it worked... Can i place my order now??? Lol....
  16. Nice job... I am in the queue line 1nce it is for sale..... :)
  17. Yup great idea.... A d tap or xlr is best solution.... Both are cheap and relatively easily available how about transmitter only 9v option ???
  18. Nice work dude.... I'll be in line if you have it up and running.... But the powering of the receiver.... Saw u power it up using a 5 pin lemo.... Is it posible to run power via d tap or another 9 volt battery system??? Btw love the way u forgot to plug ur battery on to your sled system.... :)
  19. Have a few pairs of solomons depending on jobs.... For long hours e.g live programs or ob setups i will only wear my skechers and salomon due to long hours of rehearsals and standing being comfortable is the way to go.... And for ENG setups i'll go light e.g new balance 500 series and nike lunar as i would be running most of the time but have not tried the 5 fingers of vibram yet... But to date this salomon really helps for long operating http://www.salomon.com/sg/product/xr-crossmax-neutral.html :)
  20. Hahaha and my engineers been having nightmares for the past 5 years..... How i wish we have those big antennas like the army for rf am sure there isn't any frequency drop in 200km range.... Lol
  21. Thank you mr silvera.... I am not from the UK... And i only have this big army jammers parking near to my ob point and jamming any frequencies around eventhough we did register the signal to them.... We never ever had a great signal during liveshow.... Signal was always tearing even though you have 4 antennaes pointing towards you.... Ironically the army had their own crew and was even using the same module and same contractors and their pictures are perfect.... Damn them......
