  1. Dana, I also have the Bartech & M1. Could you share how the problem was resolved in case we run into the same issue. Thanks
  2. What size Backstage pneumatic wheels have people been getting? I think they have two sizes last time I checked.
  3. Hi, Can anyone recommend a general physician in the LA area? I don't have a doctor here yet that I can visit for check ups. If they take Anthem Blue Cross, even better. Feel free to contact me via Private Message, thanks
  4. That is great news Charles. I'm tired of relying on productions to rent (or forget to rent) a downconverter. Last weekend a rented AJA came with a busted power cable and no backup. My AC did a frantic on-the-spot rebuild with a knife and electrical tape as the AD panics with our nearing hard out of our location. It all worked out, but I'd like to avoid a disaster and grab one of these Redbyte Decimators for myself!
  5. Maybe "Rescue Tape" will work? http://www.rescuetape.com
  6. Bud, Try PRO directly (pro-gpi.com) or you might have luck with steadicamrentals.com
  7. Is it possible to adapt a Shark Fin antenna to work with this? Also, does the monitor stay on the same channel even if powered down and then powered back up?
  8. How is the power draw from the camera and the runtimes you're getting with your Dionics?
  9. You can advertise to your clients that even they can "Feel like a princess when you watch TV on a Cinderella LCD television"
  10. I have the Axion AXN5358 3.5-inch TV. The reception is OK, nothing amazing. It is nowhere near the level of reception you can get with a tuner hooked up to a shark fin antenna. It takes 4 AA batteries for every 2 or so hours of use. I have a few sets of rechargeables I bring. It's cheap at $60 and its lightweight. It's a 4:3 image, so it's not the most ideal, but I rarely get complaints about it. It does not stay on a specific channel if you turn it off and then back on again.
  11. I use a different model Axion monitor for use with my Modulus and it's great.
  12. Happy Birthday Jim! I had a long day today with a RED camera and your wonderful Bartech! No issues, as always.
  13. The jump near the end of the video was pretty impressive too
  14. Fahid, you should email Tom at Glidecam, he might be able to send you something. tomh@glidecam.com
  15. It says in the Consumer Guide article that it is estimated to be around $12k before options added, very cool!
  16. Bryan, I would check out the dvxuser.com forums. I have a feeling there will be a few for sale, the next version just came out, the HPX 170.
  17. I buy most of my Pelicans from EVS in Glendale. http://www.evsonline.com/ They seem to stock most of the Pelicans
  18. I'm not sure if people have already seen this, but check out this video: http://www.themovieblog.com/2008/09/crazie...ight-scene-ever There are some interesting behind the scenes comments about their Steadicam ops.

  21. Thanks for the info guys, I am going over to Innerspace tomorrow!
  22. I was shooting on the VMA red carpet yesterday and as the carpet was closing, an op was rolling his Steadicam through the carpet to move it to some side entrance. It wasn't Rob, but the guy did have a PRO arm.
  23. Innerspace is literally 6 minutes away, but you're right, if I was walking, it would be a long way from me...:) Thanks for the heads up Nick, I'll have to swing by
