I'm deeply offended by Mr Papert's last post!

Having trouble linking but yes, McMaster has some different delrin/nylon washers.

Got them today, nice pieces.
Thank you.

Very cool, thank you for sharing.

Easy guys, there's nothing nefarious going on here.
Wasn't the X mod on the Tiffen arms a fix for a problem people were having?
It's not like there was anything wrong with either gimbal that needed to be corrected.
I have no first hand knowledge of any of this but IF GPI and XCS changed/upgraded their bearings over the years that's great for us.
Both Jack and company and Greg are stand up people and I can't imagine either trying to pull anything over on us.
I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this conspiracy soon.
Edit
I bought a new pan bearing a couple of years ago from PRO and I remember Jack saying they had switched vendors, that is all.

Very cool!

Robert,
Which propane conversion do you have for your Honda? I love mine but it'd be nice not to smell gas.
Thanks.

Please tell me us were not serious.
I'm in Charles...I need all the help I can get on my downward spiral!! Nowadays I can only get work if I pay for post stabilization, which comes out of my equip rental. If I can spend a fraction of that cost on a gizmo that helps me hold a horizon...I AM ALL IN!!
It's just the Lisagav fumes talking.

I'm shocked that this would happen, shocked I say!
the key word is CAN be easily fixed in post--the question is, WILL it be.
Hands up here who have been promised as such when the keeper take is announced and you let them know there's a wobble? And then you see the finished piece and the wobble is intact?

I prefer the wheels for most operating, especially fast dolly moves, it's easier to control the camera on the starts and stops.
Fluid head for crazy tilts or jammed in a place where I can't comfortably get to the wheels
I've only used wheels on a slider once, worked ok, for me a bit odd pulling/pushing on the wheel to move.
Gear selection, you'll start to know after watching the rehearsal what's going to work.
For moves that require perfect stops set your end frame, shift to neutral and then put the pins in a position you know you will stop at, example, tilt pin at 12 o'clock then count the turns back to your start frame then you know it's 3.5 turns and stop etc.
Most of the time on the pins, but if it's really long lens and very subtle moves I'll splay my fingers and place them on the face of the wheel, more precise for me but it limits the range.
My preference is for Arrihead 1 wheels on an Arrihead 2, I like the larger diameter.

Gasoline.

They put an oconnor on there first? On the Modern shakey cam, Charles?
Yes, it goes between the oconner and the camera.
Works well even with the Alexa and the Elura 45-250 zoom.

Brooks, I'll take the Bucket Boss if you still have it.
I can pick it up.
Thanks,

Will the more weather proofing make it more unique?

How much will you give me to take the Byro transmitter off your hands?
