  1. I have available a brand new Bartech Focus Device and Bartech Digital Reciver, both completely unused and in mint condition. I was waiting for a digital motor that had too long of a lead time and the project it was set aside for has passed. Also including a spare BFD antenna and mounting bracket (normally optional items). Selling for $2,800. Pictures below. Shipping is included in the USA or come pick up in Burbank at your convenience - not a problem.
  2. Greetings! Up for sale is an M-One motor in absolutely fantastic condition. Seen very limited use; see photos below for actual item being offered. Includes: Six idler gears (48P, .4/64P, .5, .6, 32P Standard, 32P Wide). Sliding 19mm bracket with inserts for 15mm, 5/8”, and ½”. (1) Loon Dog Leg M-One bracket. (1) Motor Cable (not pictured) (1) Pelican case (original case with foam cut to fit parts). Price: $1,950 US. Located in Los Angeles, local pickup available.
  3. As the price list shows, there is an additional charge. :) Sorry about that; I was just going by the information I was given at the Tiffen booth. Still, a good value for this unit I think.
  4. Tiffen has updated their pricing information today: http://www.steadicam.com/userimages/Clippe..._324PL41408.pdf
  5. Thought some of you may be interested in this information; The Boxx company, who has been making wireless SD units for a couple of years now, is offering wireless HD in a very compact package starting at the end of '08 for under $9,000. The signal is completely uncompressed, supports HD up to 1080p, and is very low latency. I don't know much else about the company, but I spent a good deal of time talking to the reps there with my own concerns/wants as a Steadicam operator, and they seemed quite receptive to my suggestions. The website is www.boxx.tv, but for those attending NAB this year, you might want to drop by and see what they're doing (and leave some comments of your own!). A setup like the one they were demonstrating could be a very nice (and affordable) asset in an operator's toolbox (or is that toolboxx?).
  6. I flew the new 312 at NAB and was totally blown away. What a sweet, fluid rig. I was told the price was ~$36,900 from a Tiffen employee; this comes with an SD monitor and no electronics in the stage. The 324 comes with the motorized stage standard; both require upgrades to an HD or Ultrabrite monitor. The differential is only ~$7,000 now from the base price of an Archer (which also comes with an SD monitor standard), so it's almost a no brainer. I was extremely impressed.
  7. Thanks for the interest. This item has sold.
  8. Steadicam Flyer (base model). This is the original Flyer (grey arm). I am the original owner. Condition is excellent; it has never been rented out or used by anyone else and it has only been used on a handful of shows. It comes with the widescreen (16:9) monitor and has the Anton Bauer mount. I am including a Hytron 50 battery AND an Anton Bauer Titan Twin charger so your setup is complete - everything you need to get shooting right away. Price is $6,100 + shipping (no charge if you can pick up locally). If you need pictures, please pm or email me. Preferred contact address is haakon (at) cox.net. I am located in Los Angeles.
