Hi All, Looking for your feedback.... Many of the comments and posts on the forum often speak to smaller DayBrite monitors. Is there a need for larger units? I ask because we are considering building a 10" prototype, with true high briteness (probably around 1500 nts, like out 8.4" model, but smaller than our 12"). Do you have need for such a beast? Mike, Thanks for the kind words. Really, really glad the monitor is working out so well! For those that don't know this, our units are also built from scracth for each and every owner, and as such, we are delighted to customize the units as needed..... Happy Holidays to all.... Best, Gary

Hi- I just noticed on some of the other posts that a few people mentioned the need / desire for a 12" DayBrite for crane/jib applications ....? Thought I'd let you know that we do make a 12" unit. Model number HDL12DB. It has dual HD/SD SDI (with loop), Composite (with loop), DVI/HDMI, and VGA signal inputs. Also, adjustable framelines, 1500 nts for briteness, TCP/IP remote (plus RS232 and IR), PBP and PIP, overscan/underscan, etc etc. It weighs 4.5 lbs, and list price is $3695. Also available is a non-DayBrite for a list of $2595. And...for the record...in addition to 8.4" and 12", we have DayBrite models in sizes 15", 17", 19", and 20" too. Gary (949)465-9911

Hi All, I work for Boland, and am new to the Steadicam Forum. One of my SC clients had recommended that I join this site to learn and listen. I am open to any feedback you may have to improve our monitors for you. We have a brand new 8.4" DayBrite that I thought might be of interest...... It has 1500 nts for briteness, an increased resolution of 1024x768, safe-area framelines, PIP and PBP, and comes with these standard signal inputs: dual HD/SD SDI (with loop), composite (with loop), component, DVI, and HDMI. After listening to operator feedback, we have also added the anti-glare, added 10-32 holes on the sides and 1/4-20's on top and bottom, and ensured that you had 178 degrees off access viewing both horizontally AND vertically. It's available with other options: battery plate(s), lemo connector, 2 different yoke mounts.
