Makes sense, kind of like that DM4 and DM4X

M26VE is identical to DM-2 in both speed and torque. M21VE-L has less torque but is faster than M26VE / DM-2 DM1X is the fastest and has the most torque of any motor I have owned or used. I don't think any motor comes close.

Yes, same cables. -
The pin selection Teradek uses also happens to be the same as Preston and Sniper.

I have used a Teradek Bolt Pro SDI and Teradek Bolt 2000 SDI 2nd generation for the last three years and always power from Alexa 12v 2pin lemo. I have never had an issue.

Agreed! -
I can say that Batrtech is in the minority, but they did pick their polarity before the other companies I mentioned. Arri, used an 11 pin Fischer for 12v power until the Alexa five years ago.

Alexa, Teradek, Preston, and Ward Sniper all use the same 2 pin Lemo polarity. The only item I know of that uses the opposite is Bartech.

The current mdr3 uses a booster to always send 24v to the motors so they always turn at the same speed even when the mdr is powered by bless than 24v
