  5. Here is my first reel using the Glidecam 4000 system that the sports broadcast company owns ( cant wait to get my zephyr) DETAILS various marathons we have shot me operating on the back of a motorcycle in Don Juan using TV glasses. i know most of it is off level, im still learning Please Leave feedback and critique so i can get better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETW0PtOhuCg
  6. Thanks every one for the replies im glad to see that so many people are taking time out for the little guys lol. I can really vouch for what you guys are saying Eric and Janice. The only time i use them is doing marathons on the back of a motorcycle as i have the rig facing backwards(Don Juan) and cant see the monitor so looking forward with the glasses makes flying on a bike soo much easier. That being said i have had to transition from bike to foot an having the glasses on makes mee feel like Ray Charles lol. I saw some of the 2nd cam footage and caught my self looking up at the sky and doing the Stevie Wonder lol.

    Tv Glasses

Hey every one So i have been a Glidecam User for a few years (company owns it personally getting a zypher 2012 some time) doing sports and what not but after just reading an old Steadicam Letter from 1994 ( i was 3 at the time lol) they were showing off these tv glasses called Virtual Vision Sport. Now when i do marathons the company i freelance for uses Glidecam rather then handheld and i use the Vuzix wrap line of Tv glasses. http://www.vuzix.com/consumer/products_wrap310.html#overview I find it awesome that the idea i had to use these for on bike shots was already a thought of long before i even knew about movie making and tv Anyways is there anyone out there that still uses TV Glass for specialist projects or at all. I have a gig coming up where i have to use them again hopefully i could show some video and pictures.
  8. I understand that they were using the Artemis by Sachtler and also i see alot more EFP or live events guys using them is there a reason behind that.
  9. I just would Like to Congratulate the operators on Eurovision 2011 in may, sadly I am just watching it. But congratulations

  11. Hey all just registered. I'm just starting out in the stedicam world with only a glidecam 4000 under my belt ( company owns it not me) I have done alot of sports events with the glidecam i.e marathons (best shots from those lol), boxing events, football, and triathlons. Im looking to take the Stedicam training course in December and after that purchase a mid level rig (got my eye on a zypher) Is there any one who can give me advice on where to go in terms of training and jobs
