  2. Hello Steadicam Gurus, Looking to upgrade my video transmitter/receiver after being duped into buying junk from "http://robertbenson.com/blog/" Has anyone had good experiences with "RF-Videos" products? I was looking at purchasing the "SPX-69TM Steadicam video sender (transmitter)" paired with a "M-800 video receiver." http://www.rf-video.com/test/online/homepage/specificproduct.asp http://www.rf-video.com/test/online/homepage/specificproduct.asp I am shooting with an older Flyer sled, so standard BNC SD video output being split from the camera to the stage as well as the transmitter. As always, thank you in advance for you help and sugguestions. Keep em flying, Josh
  3. Hi Joe, Not sure if we're on the same page..What the Catgriller does is bypass the need to attach/reattach the dovetail in between shots. What I am looking for is an adapter of sorts that can be mounted to the fluid head via the standard Manfrotto QR plate, that essentially simulates the stage of the Steadicam. Thus allowing me to slide the dovetail attached to the rig right out of the stage of the Flyer and on top of the sticks, real quick.
  4. Hey Everyone, Tried to extensively search the forum and apologize if I overlooked a solution to this problem. I am trying to find an adapter to aid in quickly switching from flying the rig to placing it back on the sticks without having to attach/re-attach the dovetail everytime. I have contacted Markus from Baer-Bel whose "Catgriller" unfortunately will not work with the Flyer dovetail. Anyone know of any other products/solutions? Much thanks for your help and suggestions. Cheers, Josh
  5. Right on for the info Joe. Will definitely take that into consideration. :)
  6. Hey Mark, Thanks for your reply! Much appreciated! The sled actually is the non-extendable version...I do not believe it is the "LE" but rather just the Flyer...hat was a mistake on my end. Sorry about that. With that being said, is everything you said then applicable, assuming that it is indeed a "2-pin" vs a "3-pin"?
  7. Hello Everyone, Just recently bought a older FLYER-LE and am in the midst of assembling the correct set-up for my rig. I am currently flying the 5Dmk2 with some accessories and was hoping I could power the camera as well as HoFo transmitter (and maybe other units down the road) from the 2 IDX batteries. I am pretty sure there is "2-Pin lemo" out from the stage..but I have also been told that a "p-tap" cable would work.. thus I have been having a hard time generating a parts list for the appropriate cables. I have created a wishlist on B&H of some parts that I think may work.. But again I'm only speculating, and have limited knowledge in this field. That's is where you kind, intelligent people can really help me out! The list is below: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=wishlisting&A=wishlistDetail&Q=&li=413719D96B I appreciate any help/feedback I can get and want to thank everyone ahead of time for their assistance. Cheers, Josh
